Function Description:

The primary function of the WJL-6000 PRO is to detect leaks of halogenated refrigerants. Upon activation, the device emits a continuous beep, indicating normal operation. When a refrigerant gas leak is detected, the audible tone changes to a rapid siren sound, and a digital result appears on the LED display. The device features an automatic circuit function that adjusts to changes in halogen gas concentration in the environment, helping to prevent false alarms. Users can also manually adjust the sensitivity to pinpoint leaks more accurately.

• Power On/Off: A short press of the power button turns the unit on or off. A continuous beep confirms the unit is functioning normally.
• Sensitivity Adjustment: The device offers 5 levels of sensitivity, adjustable using the "+" or "-" buttons. This allows users to fine-tune the detector for different leak sizes and environmental conditions.
• Calibration/Reset: A "reset" button is available to calibrate the device and continue searching for leaks, which is particularly useful for pinpointing the exact source of a leak. If the detector continuously sounds like a siren after power on, especially in high humidity, pressing and holding the power button for three seconds will reset it.
• Battery Installation: The battery compartment is easily accessible. Users open the device, take out the battery rack, install 4 AAA batteries, and then return the rack to the device.

• Sensing Tip Care: The sensing tip must be kept clean from dust, moisture, and grease. If dirty, it can be cleaned by immersing it in a mild solvent like alcohol for a few seconds, then drying it with compressed air or a towel.
• Prohibited Cleaning Agents: Do not use harsh solvents such as gasoline, turpentine, or mineral spirits to clean the product, as these can cause damage.
• Sensor Wetness: If the LCD screen displays "E", it means the sensor is too wet. In this case, the sensor should be removed, blown dry, and reinstalled.
• Safety Precautions:
  • Do not submerge the product in water.
  • Avoid exposing the product to temperatures exceeding 60°C.
  • Do not leave the product in direct sunlight for long periods.
  • Do not dismantle or attempt repairs without authorization.
  • Always turn off the tool before replacing the sensing tip to prevent mild electric shock.
