7.6) The lift up side windows incorporate a
catch design that allows two positions of
operation.
With the striker arm up, the window will
fully close to seal. With the striker arm
down, the window may be locked in a
partially open, air vented position, to
allow air flow inside the canopy for pets.
To configure the striker into the partially
open (window vented position), push the
release button backwards on the catch,
and rotate latch arm down until it locks
into open position (vented window).
To fold the arm up and close the window,
simply push latch arm upwards until arm
“clicks” into the up position.
Do not close the window unless the
striker latch arm is locked in either up
or down positions.
If latch arm is not locked in position
during closing of the window, it could
cause damage to the striker and / or
the rotary latch mechanism.
