Camera Using Tips
PIR Motion Sensor:
It will detect the body heat from 2~10 meters. And you can customize the detection range
to meet your needs. Set from Arenti APP >> Device (tap device to live video page) >>
Settings >> Alert settings >> Motion Detection >> Sensitivity.
Sensitivity
Detection range
Level 1-3 (Low)
Up to 2-5 meters
Level 4-7 (Mid)
Up to 5-8 meters
Level (8-10) High
Up to 8-10 meters
For more accuracy of huma detection. You can set human shape detection on to filter
useless alarms. Enable it for day or night human shape detection.
Battery Life:
The battery life of the camera depends on the number of times that the camera is
triggered. The more times the camera is triggered to work, the faster the battery will be
consumed.
Suggest:
1. Place the camera in a working environment with a smooth and stable Wi-Fi.
2. Not to install the camera on the side of the road, not point to the heat source
similar to an outside air conditioner or face the suns rays to avoid frequent false
triggering of PIR.
3. Set lower sensitivity and long alarm interval in Arenti APP.
FAQ
My camera was triggered (blue is on and motion detection is on), but there is no alert
notification?
Please try to disable Day/Night Human Shape Detection. If enabled, it will send an alert
only when recognized the human shape, but the arithmetic is not 100% accurate; Especial
at the night, camera may think thats not a human shape and didnt record and send
notification.
How to change Wi-Fi or update Wi-Fi password for device?
Please delete the camera on App, tap Add follow the steps to use the new Wi-Fi network
to add the camera again.
