Check each item in Before Storage in the Maintenance
Schedule. See Engine Manual for detailed instructions
on preparing the engine for storage.
Unit
Store unit in a cool dry protected place.
Inspect unit for visible signs of wear or damage. Order
any parts required and make necessary repairs to
avoid delays when beginning use again.
Clean unit thoroughly.
IMPORTANT: NEVER spray unit with water or store
unit outdoors.
Touch up any chipped or scratched painted areas to
avoid rust.
Engine
When storing tiller for an extended period, refer to
Engine Manual.
STORAGE
WARNING: AVOID INJURY. Read and
understand Storage Safety Rules in Safety
section before operating.
TROUBLESHOOTING

Engine will not
start.
1. Fuel tank empty.
2. Fuel shut off valve in closed position.
