POSITIONING
Install the Receiver outside of the boiler
and far away from electromagnetic fi elds
(e.g.: televisions, computers, refrigerators
or microwave ovens), as these could affect
the operation of the device.
Take extra care when positioning the de-
vice near lifts, stairways and metal wall
structures, as these may have an isolating
effect with regard to signal transmission
and reception.
Inside a typical residential building, the
two devices must communicate reliably
within a 30 m radius.
The signal strength of the Receiver de-
pends on the number of walls and ceilings
separating it from the Timer-thermostat.
After selecting the position of the receiver,
verify whether the communication with the
timer-thermostat is satisfactory.
NOTE: The connection between the Re-
ceiver and the Timer-thermostat (included
in the same package - Fig. A) is default
pre-confi gured, thus it must be installed in
the same place. This makes the installa-
tion process straightforward and quick.
If the products are replaced, or exchanged
with other packages, perform the recogni-
tion procedure according to the instruc-
tions indicated in the "Recognition proce-
dure" paragraph.
ASSEMBLY AND WIRING
- Separate the fi xing base by inserting a
screwdriver into the slot located on the
lower part (Fig. 1).
Turn the cover upwards (Fig. 2).
- Fix the receiver base to the wall in the
chosen point, using the rawlplugs and
screws supplied with the kit (Fig. 3).
