Overview

The Aroma360 Museum360 is a sophisticated scent diffuser designed to create a beautifully scented ambiance in various spaces. Utilizing advanced Cold-Air Diffusion technology, this discreet and sleek device offers a convenient and practical solution for enhancing any environment. It is primarily intended for use in conjunction with a central air conditioning system, allowing for widespread scent dispersion.

Function Description

The Museum360 diffuser operates by converting fragrance oil into a fine, dry mist that is then diffused into the air. This cold-air diffusion method ensures that the integrity of the fragrance is maintained without the use of heat or water, resulting in a consistent and long-lasting scent experience. The device features two LCD screens, enabling dual-scenting power, which means it can manage two separate scenting processes simultaneously if configured as a Double Museum360.

The unit is equipped with three power buttons: a central switch to power the entire unit on, and individual switches beneath each LCD screen to power the corresponding sides of the Museum360. This allows for flexible control over single or dual-zone scenting. The LCD displays provide valuable information regarding the current settings, including the time (using a 24-hour clock), the day of the week, and the current operating mode (WORK or PAUSE). In WORK mode, the unit emits aroma, while in PAUSE mode, it does not. The display also shows the scent intensity settings, which can be adjusted between 5% and 95%.

The Museum360 allows users to program up to five individual scenting events, enabling different scenting times throughout the days of the week. This scheduling flexibility ensures that the scenting experience can be tailored to specific needs and preferences.

Usage Features

Setting Up the Device: To begin using the Museum360, users first unbox the diffuser and familiarize themselves with its components. The device connects to a standard 110v outlet via a 10A-125V power cord. Once plugged in, the unit is powered on using the central button, and then the individual side switches are activated if dual-scenting is desired. The unit defaults to displaying the current time, which operates on a 24-hour clock.

Installing Fragrance Oil: Before installing oil, the diffuser must be powered off and unplugged. The provided wall plate and atomizer are affixed close to the ductwork. Fragrance oil is poured into the aluminum bottle, which is then tightly screwed back into the atomizer. It is crucial to use only Aroma360 oils to prevent damage and void the warranty. Overfilling the bottle should be avoided.

Connecting to HVAC System: The Museum360 is designed for HVAC connection. A thin white tube connects from the back of the diffuser to the top of the atomizer. A small hole is made in the ductwork, preferably after the HVAC filter, to serve as the scent point. A thick transparent tube is then inserted about 6 inches into this scent hole, with the other end connecting to the larger hole at the top of the atomizer. Any excess tubing should be cut, and the scent point sealed with HVAC tape to ensure the tubing is vertical.

Setting the Current Time: The current time is set by pressing the SET button. The hour, minutes, and day of the week can be adjusted using the UP or DOWN buttons and confirmed with SET. If the screen is unresponsive, holding the SET button for 20 seconds can resolve the issue.

Setting Operating Hours: The Museum360 allows for up to five scenting events. For each event, users can set the start time (EVENT ON), select the operating days using UP or DOWN, and set the end time (EVENT OFF). It is important to ensure there are no conflicting settings and to split periods that run past midnight into two separate events.

Adjusting Scent Intensity: Scent intensity is adjusted via the MODE button, which brings up the SCENT WORK PAUSE display. Intensity can be set between 5% (lowest) and 95% (highest) using the UP or DOWN buttons, then confirmed with SET.

Lock Settings: To prevent tampering, the unit's settings can be locked by holding down the SET button for 20 seconds until a beep is heard. This indicates that lock mode has been enabled. To unlock, the process is repeated.

Factory Reset: To restore the unit to its original factory settings, the MODE button should be held down for 20 seconds.

Maintenance Features

Oil Changes: When changing scenting oils, any remaining oil in the bottle should be removed. Rubbing alcohol (approximately 1/4 full) is then poured into the aluminum bottle and diffused for 15-30 minutes. After diffusing, any remaining rubbing alcohol should be removed, and the bottle rinsed and dried before adding new fragrance oil. This process helps to clean the system and prevent clogging.

Preventative Maintenance: Diffusing rubbing alcohol every three months is recommended to maintain the diffuser and prevent oil from clogging the system.

Proper Placement: The Museum360 and its atomizers should always be kept in an upright position, away from moisture and extreme temperatures, and out of reach of children.

Safety Precautions: The unit must always be powered off or unplugged before adding or removing the oil canister. Oil should always be removed when transporting the unit.

Troubleshooting Clogged Nozzle: If the mist or scent output is low, the nozzle may be clogged. Running rubbing alcohol through the system for 3 minutes or replacing the nozzle can resolve this issue.

Addressing Oil Leakage: If oil leakage occurs, ensure the Museum360 is in a full upright position. The fragrance bottle should be removed and reattached, making sure it is screwed in straight and very tight.

Tubing Removal: To remove the thick or thin tubing from the atomizer or diffuser, simply press down on the black outer portion of the tube connector (which acts as a "release" button), and the tubing will release.
