Base

Building Base Options

Anchoring kit recommended. Options include directly on ground, wood platform, or concrete slab.

Option 1: Direct Ground Base

Assemble directly on level ground; optional kit for floor or solid surface.

Option 2: Wood Platform Base

Build own base using lumber and plywood; ensure platform is level and flat.

Option 3: Concrete Slab Base

Slab should be at least 4" thick, level and flat; includes site preparation steps.

Anchoring

Anchoring Importance

It is important to anchor the entire floor frame after the building is erected.

Anchoring to Wood;Post

Use 1/4" (6 mm) Wood Screws through provided holes for proper anchoring.

Anchoring to Concrete

Use Lag Screws for poured concrete slab/footing or anchor posts.

Step 1

Floor Frame Assembly

Instructions for assembling the front, rear, and side floor frames using specific parts.

Assemble Front Floor Frames

Assemble front floor frames, center ramp, and join with screws.

Assemble Side and Rear Floor Frames

Overlap side and rear frames, align holes, and join with bolts.

Floor Frame Final Check

Step 2

Wall Frame Assemblies

Instructions for assembling rear wall channels, side wall channels, rear wall angles, and side wall angles.

Assemble Rear Wall Channel

Overlap rear wall channel pieces and fasten together with eight bolts.

Assemble Side Wall Channels

Overlap side wall channel pieces and fasten each set with eight bolts.

Assemble Rear Wall Angle

Overlap rear wall angle pieces and fasten with one bolt in the center hole.

Assemble Side Wall Angles

Make side wall angles by overlapping pieces and fasten with one bolt through the second hole.

Frame Assembly Final Check

Double-check the length of each assembled frame piece.

Step 3

Roof Beam Assembly

Instructions for assembling roof beams, creating doubled and single beam assemblies.

Prepare Roof Beams

Place one roof beam end into another, aligning holes; make four sets.

Assemble Main Roof Beam

Join two prepared roof beams and fasten with 14 bolts for the main assembly.

Assemble Single Roof Beams

Fasten the other two prepared roof beams with eight bolts for left/right assemblies.

Roof Beam Final Check

Double-check the length of each roof beam assembly.

Step 4

Door Track Assembly

Assemble the door track using the splice and door slides.

Join Door Track Sections

Use door track splice to join galvanized door track pieces end-to-end.

Attach Door Slides

Position door slides onto the legs of the door track assembly.

Set Door Track Assembly Aside

Set the completed door track assembly for later use.

Step 5

Floor Frame Assembly

Assemble the four corners of the floor frame and check for squareness.

Assemble Floor Frame Corners

Assemble floor frame corners using screws, bolts, and nuts.

Check Floor Frame Squareness

Measure floor frame diagonally; equal measurements indicate it is square.

Floor Frame Anchoring Note

Do not fasten floor frames to base yet if using wood platform or concrete slab.

Step 6

Corner and Wall Panel Assembly

Attach corner panels and wall panels to the floor frame and each other.

Position Corner Panel

Position corner panel at floor frame corner and attach wall panel to corner panel.

Attach Front Wall Panels

Attach front wall panels to the front corner panels.

Attach Rear Wall Panels

Attach wall panels to the rear corner panels.

Wall Panel Parts Verification

Double-check the part numbers of the wall panels before proceeding.

Step 7

Mid Frame Installation

Fasten rear and side wall channels to provide rigidity to the walls.

Install Rear Wall Channel

Fasten the rear wall channel across the middle of the rear wall using screws.

Install Side Wall Channels

Fasten side wall channels across side panels; fasten overlaps in corners.

Step 8

Top Frame Installation

Fasten rear and side wall angles and door track assembly to the top of the walls.

Install Rear Wall Angle

Fasten the rear wall angle across the inside top of the rear wall using screws.

Install Side Wall Angles

Fasten side wall angles across inside top of side panels; overlap rear wall angle.

Install Door Track Assembly

Fasten the door track assembly across the top of the front wall panels using screws.

Step 9

Wall Panel Installation

Attach wall panels to the frame, ensuring correct orientation of crimped ribs.

Locate Wall Panels

Locate all wall panels and set them alongside the building.

Fasten Wall Panels

Fasten wall panels at top, bottom, and center; fasten overlapping ribs.

Fasten Panel Centers

Fasten the center of each panel to the wall channel with screws.

Step 10

Front Channel and Door Jamb Installation

Reinforce the door opening and add attractive trim by installing door jambs.

Install Front Wall Channels

Fasten front wall channels between side wall channel and corner panel.

Attach Door Jamb

Fasten a door jamb to the front panel with bolts, nuts, and acorn nuts.

Fasten Door Jamb Center

Fasten the center of the door jamb to the front wall panel and channel.

Fasten Door Jamb Top and Bottom

Fasten the top and bottom of the door jamb to the door track and frame.

Step 11

Gable Assembly

Assemble gables by joining large and small gables, applying edge trim, and attaching roof beam brackets.

Apply Gable Edge Trim

Apply green and clear edge trim to the edges of the gables.

Join Gable Sections

Join large and small gables using bolts, washers, and nuts.

Attach Roof Beam Brackets

Attach roof beam brackets to the outer gable legs using bolts.

Step 12

Gable and Roof Beam Connection

Connect gables to the building structure and attach single roof beams.

Fasten Gables to Structure

Fasten gables to door track and rear wall angle with screws.

Attach Single Roof Beam

Fasten the single roof beam to the outer gable leg using bolts.

Join Gables with Brace

Join left and right gables with a gable brace using a bolt.

Step 13

Roof Beam and Brace Installation

Attach track supports, weather stripping, roof beam braces to complete the roof beam structure.

Attach Track Supports

Fasten track supports to the front gable assembly.

Apply Weather Stripping

Wrap weather stripping tape around joined edges of gables.

Install Double Roof Beam

Spread double roof beam halves and fasten to gable braces at front and rear.

Attach Roof Beam Braces

Fasten roof beam brace to double roof beam and track support.

Attach Rear Roof Beam Brace

Fasten a roof beam brace between the rear gable and the roof beam.

Step 14

Install Right Roof Panel

Install the right roof panel, ensuring the building is square and level.

Locate Right Roof Panel

Locate the right roof panel (part number 8462).

Position and Fasten Right Roof Panel

Position right roof panel at back right corner and fasten to top roof beam.

Remove Gable Edge Trim

Remove edge trim from the left gable under the roof panel.

Continue Fastening Roof Panels

Fasten right roof panel to gable and lower beam; attach second roof panel.

Step 15

Install Ridge Caps and Panels

Install remaining roof panels and ridge caps, applying weather stripping.

Install Left Roof Panel

Install left roof panel and 11504 at the left rear corner of the roof.

Apply Ridge Weather Stripping

Cut and apply weather stripping tape to cover the joint at the peak.

Install Middle Roof Panels

Install two roof panels 6538, fold lower sections, and cover notches.

Tape Panel Overlaps

Apply tape over the overlap of roof panels prior to covering with ridge cap.

Install Ridge Caps

Install three ridge caps 6797 using bolts and nuts.

Fasten Roof Components

Fasten roof panel ribs, peak caps, and ridge caps together using bolts and nuts.

Step 16

Install More Ridge Caps and Panels

Continue installing roof panels and ridge caps, ensuring proper alignment.

Install Side Roof Panels

Install two roof panels 6538 working side to side, cover notches, and strip ridge.

Overlap Ridge Caps

Install second ridge caps 6869 overlapping first, leaving bolts loose for adjustment.

Fasten Down Ridge Caps

Install two roof panels 6538 while fastening down ridge caps.

Step 17

Final Ridge Caps and Panel Installation

Install remaining ridge caps and roof panels, and adjust gables for fit.

Install Final Ridge Caps

Install third ridge caps 6797 overlapping second, while installing remaining roof panels.

Install Final Roof Panels

Install left 8463 and right 8462 roof panels, applying weather stripping.

Fasten Roof and Gable Components

Fasten roof panel ribs, peak caps, and ridge caps together using bolts and nuts.

Step 18

Roof Trim Installation

Attach roof trim to the lower end of the roof panels and fasten trim caps.

Attach Roof Trim to Panels

Attach right, left, and side roof trim to the lower end of roof panels.

Bend Side Roof Trim Flange

Overbend the bottom flange of the side roof trim inward at the corner.

Fasten Roof Trim Caps

Fasten the roof trim caps to the side trim using a screw.

Step 19

Door Assembly

Assemble the door handle brace, vertical door brace, horizontal braces, and guides.

Attach Door Handle Brace

Attach door handle brace and handle to the door with a bolt.

Position Door Handle Brace

Position door handle brace on the door and insert a screw.

Attach Vertical Door Brace

Hold vertical door brace against the inside surface and fasten with screws.

Tighten Door Handle Bolts

Insert a second bolt in the door handle and tighten both bolts.

Attach Horizontal Door Brace

Put horizontal door brace onto top and bottom edges and fasten with a bolt.

Attach Door Guides

Attach the lower door guides and bolts as shown.

Step 20

Door Installation and Adjustment

Install the doors into the frame and adjust them for proper alignment.

Install Door Assembly

Put the bottom of the door assembly behind the door jamb into the front frame track.

Position Door Top

Position the top of the door so holes line up with holes in door slides.

Fasten Door to Slides

Fasten the door to the door slides using screws per door slide.

Repeat for Left Door

Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the left door.

Anchoring and Floor Frame

Final Building Anchoring

Anchor your building at this time.

Floor Frame Installation

Install the Floor Frame Kit if one was purchased.
