How to fix Artsound R99 when it cannot connect to Wi-Fi network?

  If your Artsound Tuner cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure that other devices on the same network can access the internet. Check if a DHCP server is available or if you've configured a static IP address on the radio. Also, verify that your firewall isn't blocking necessary outgoing ports such as UDP and TCP ports 80, 443, 8008, and DNS port 53. If your router restricts access by MAC address, obtain the MAC address from Configuration > Information > Network > Wi-Fi MAC and add it to the allowed list. Insufficient Wi-Fi signal strength can also be a factor, so check the distance to the router and optimize its location. Finally, the radio supports WEP, WPA, and WPA2 encryption methods, so ensure your router is using one of these.

  If your Artsound Tuner connects to the network but can't play particular stations, it could be due to several reasons. The station might not be broadcasting at the current time, considering it may be in a different time zone. Alternatively, the station's server might be overloaded with too many listeners or has reached its maximum allowed number of simultaneous listeners. It's also possible that the link on the radio is outdated. To update the station list, access Internet radio > Skytune.
