Lifting the Wheelchair
• Lift the footplates up
• Use the push handles and the
front part of the frame to lift the
wheelchair up
• Always be careful when lifting the
chair that you are correctly
positioned for safe manual
handling
Adjusting Backrest Height
• Remove backrest upholstery
• Peel back upholstery in the lower
edge of the backrest cane to reveal
two bolt heads
• Remove both bolts and re-position
canes as required
• Tighten bolts and re-attached upholstery
Adjusting Backrest Depth
• Using the supplied allen key loosen the two
screws
• Repostion the backrest cane brackets into the
desired position
• Tighten the screws
• Relocate armrest front receiver brackets
along side rails to compensate for backrest
movement distance
• Adjust hand brake clamp location if required
Adjusting Backrest Angle
• Loosen the bolt behind the wheel mount
• Reposition the backrest into the desired angle
position
• Tighten the bolt
Adjusting Backrest Tension
• Remove the backrest
upholstery
• Peel back velcro straps
• Re-position to achieve
desired tension
