2.8 M.2_SSD (NGFF) Module Installation Guide (M2_2 and
M2_3)
The M.2, also known as the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), is a small size and
versatile card edge connector that aims to replace mPCIe and mSATA. The Ultra M.2
Sockets (M2_2 and M2_3) support M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s).
Installing the M.2_SSD (NGFF) Module
Step 1
This motherboard suppor ts M.2_
SSD (NGFF) module type 2280 only.
Prepare a proper PCB lenth of module
(8cm) and the screw.
Step 2
Align and gently insert the M.2
(NGFF) SSD module into the M.2
slot. Please be aware that the M.2
(NGFF) SSD module only ts in one
orientation.
Step 3
Tighten the screw with a screwdriver
to secure the module into place.
Please do not overtighten the screw as
this might damage the module.
