Master mode is a mode in which only the administrator can set the door lock and provide
access to other users. 100ea user passwords, 100ea card keys, 100ea fingerprint and individual
registration and deletion of one-time passwords enable efficient management of visitors.

20. 3-minute Lock Out Feature
If an invalid user code, fingerprint or card key is entered five(5) times in a row,
lock out mode is activated and all buttons on the front body are not activated
for three minutes.
Open with inside door bar.
Open the door with mechanical key.
Press button.

Intrusion Alarm : The alarm goes off when someone forces the door open.
For example, In case of an intrusion by opening a gap
in the door while the door is locked.
Broken Alarm : The alarm sounds when the front part is completely
separated from the main set. For example,
forced removal of external product (front body).
Enter the registered User code.
Press button for 5 seconds.
Enter the registered Fingerprint.
Touch the registered Card key.

The product uses four 1.5V Alkaline
AA batteries. They may sustain
1 year if used 10 times a day.
(Users are advised to use authentic
Alkaline batteries.)
You must replace all 4 batteries in the following cases:
* The Low Battery LED on keypad flickers red.
* When low battery notification message is played.
RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE
OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE NATIONAL CODE OR RECYCLING
PROGRAM.
※ Voice guidance function : The lock provides voice guidance for user and it will be helpful to set up
lock’s features correctly.
※ All registered passwords and other credentials can be deleted at the time of mode change.
※ Please install(register) the network module when you want to use a remote control or home network.
User Slot Number should be 2 digits.
like ‘01’ … ‘99’ and ‘00’: Location of 100th user slot must be assigned "00" instead of "100".

whether the door is securely locked.

When External Forced lock is set and unlock the door,
the alarm will be activated.

Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Only alkaline batteries are recommended.

Make sure to follow the above instructions to avoid any injuries.

It cannot be guaranteed in a special conditions & environment such as
water condensation, seaside.

The Yale YDM7116A is a digital door lock designed for enhanced security and convenience, offering multiple authentication methods including Card, Fingerprint, PIN Code, and Key. It is an ASSA ABLOY Group brand product.

Function Description:

The YDM7116A operates in two primary modes: Normal Mode and Master Mode.

• Normal Mode: In this default mode, any person who knows the 'User PIN Code' has the authority to set features. Users can register user codes, visitor codes, onetime codes, fingerprints, and card keys.
• Master Mode: This mode provides a higher level of security and control. Only a designated person with the 'Master PIN Code' can set features. It allows for the management of up to 100 user passwords, 100 card keys, 100 fingerprint registrations, and the individual or bulk deletion of onetime passwords, enabling efficient management of visitors. The Yale Access Bluetooth App is only available in Master Mode.

Authentication Methods:

• PIN Code: Supports user codes (4-10 digits), master codes (4-10 digits), visitor codes (only 4 digits), and onetime codes (only 4 digits). The onetime code is used once and then automatically deleted. Fake PIN Code feature allows entering random numbers before or after the actual PIN to prevent exposure.
• Fingerprint: Utilizes a one-touch fingerprint verification system with Goodix fingerprint solution for live finger detection and secure matching. Up to 100 fingerprints can be registered.
• Card Key: Supports registration of up to 100 card keys.
• Mechanical Key: Provides a traditional backup for unlocking the door.

Usage Features:

• Unlocking Door:
  • With Code: Palm touch the keypad, enter the code, then palm touch again or press the '*' button.
  • With Fingerprint/Card Key: Touch the fingerprint sensor panel for 1 second with a registered fingerprint, or contact a registered card key on the card key reader.
  • From Outside: Press the lever handle down.
  • From Inside: If Safe Handle Settings are enabled, push the safe handle button and then press the handle down. If disabled, simply press the lever handle down.
• Locking Door:
  • Automatic Lock Mode: The lock automatically engages within 5 seconds after the door closes and the automatic lock sensor detects it.
  • Manual Lock Mode: The door locks when the keypad is touched with a palm (from outside) or by using the Thumb turn knob on the main body (from inside).
• Smart Touchpad Automatic Locking: Detects door closing and locks automatically within 5 seconds. Note: This function does not work in manual lock mode.
• Smart Etiquette: Allows entering a PIN code in silent mode.
• Internal Forced Lock: Disables external authentication methods (passwords, RFID cards, fingerprints) when set from indoors, enhancing security.
• External Forced Lock: Triggers an alarm if the door is opened from the inside when this function is set from outside. To release, unlock the door from outside with proper authentication.
• 3-minute Lock Out Feature: Activates after five unsuccessful attempts of an invalid code or fingerprint/card key, disabling all buttons on the front body for three minutes. To release, open with the inside door bar, a mechanical key, or by pressing the registration button.
• Voice Guide Feature: Provides audio guidance for operation status, making setup and use easier.
• Language Change: Supports Korean, Chinese, English, and Taiwanese.
• Remote Controller (Optional): Allows remote operation. Up to 5 remote controllers can be registered.
• Home Network Controller (Optional): Enables connection to a home network controller.
• Yale Access Bluetooth App (Optional): Provides access and unlocking capabilities via smartphone using high-tech IoT technology. Requires the Yale Access BLE module and operates in Master Mode.

Maintenance Features:

  • In case of fully discharged batteries, an external 9V alkaline battery can be used for emergency power supply. Connect the 9V battery to the emergency power supply terminal on the front body, then authenticate with palm touch, PIN code, card key, or fingerprint.
• Volume Control Switch: Allows adjustment of the operation sound volume (High, Low, Mute).
