Now
take the
shock
body
and
the installation tool
and
push
the
pa
rts
slow
ly into
the
shock
body
all
the
way
down
until it bottoms
ou
t.
Then
give
it a
hard
pus
h
to
seat
the
split washer.
You should
be
able
to
hear the washer snap in
to
place. Pull
the installati
on
tool
out. Look into the
shock
body
to
ch
eck
the insta
ll
ation.
IMPORTANT! The split ri
ng
should
look like
fig.

not
seated in the l
ock
groove
and
the s
hock
will
come
apart.
MAKE
SURE
THE
WASHER
IS
FULLY
SEATED
IN
THE
GROOVE
.

the split washer
