    • A
      Anthony PachecoAug 21, 2025
If the pilot light on your Astria Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit after following the lighting instructions, it might be due to a defective pilot generator (thermocouple). Ensure the pilot flame is directly impinging on the thermocouple. Try cleaning and/or adjusting the pilot for maximum flame impingement. What causes spark igniter to not light pilot in Astria Aries 35 Indoor Fireplace?
    • A
      Angelica VelazquezSep 7, 2025
If the spark igniter on your Astria Indoor Fireplace won't light the pilot after repeated attempts, here are a few potential causes: * Defective igniter: Check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, replace the igniter. * Defective or misaligned electrode: Light the pilot with a match. If it lights, turn off the pilot and try the igniter again. If it lights, a longer purge period is recommended. If it doesn't light, check the gap at the electrode and pilot (should be 1/8"). If the gap is correct, replace the pilot. * Gas supply pressure errant: Check the inlet gas pressure to ensure it's within the limits on the rating plate. * Pilot orifice plugged: Clean or replace the pilot orifice.
