The oven light switches on.
ECO top and bottom heat*
The Eco top and bottom heat function optimally controls energy consumption. By using the
residual heat in the oven, dishes are evenly heated. As a result, the energy consumption is low
but the preparation times are longer. Use this oven function only for heating up food. Use the
conventional top and bottom heat function to prepare dishes.
Follow the these steps to heat up food with the ECO top and bottom heat function:
• Place the food in the oven.
• Select the ECO top and bottom heat function;
• Set the required temperature;
The oven interior lighting is switched Off during ECO function.
WARNING! if during use the oven door is opened and closed, the ECO function is switched Off
and the oven is operating with the conventional top and bottom bottom heat function.
(*) This type of cooking is used to define the energy efficiency class and the energy consumption.
Top and bottom heat (conventional)
A top and bottom heating element heat the food, suitable for the preparation of one dish. This
mode is used for light pastry and cake where the heat supply from above and below needs to
be equal to obtain an airy result. The dish should preferably be placed in a preheated oven, i.e.,
once the indicator light next to the temperature knob has gone out. Follow the these steps to use
the oven with the conventional top and bottom heat function:
• Select the Hot air function;
• Set a preheat temperature;
• Once the oven has reached the set temperature (the orange light turns off), select the top
and bottom heat function and start to cook your food.
Top heat
This mode is suitable for quickly baking soufflé’s, meringues, etc., a little longer. When you are
finished baking, turn the function knob to ‘top heat’.
