Ventilation
The electronics in the appliance need cooling. The appliance
will automatically switch off if there is insufficient air circulati-
on. There are ventilation openings on the underside of the
appliance. It must be possible for cool air to be drawn in
through these openings. There are outlet openings on the
underside and at the front of the appliance.
Several alterations must be made to the kitchen unit to allow
optimal ventilation of the hob.
Above a door, drawer or fixed panel
Ventilation occurs through the plinth and back of the cupboard.
Saw out the ventilation openings (min 100 cm
2
).
Make sure the crossbar does not impede the airflow.
Plane or saw the crossbar D diagonally if necessary.
Do not allow a drawer to block the ventilation openings on the
bottom of the appliance.
If there is a drawer under the hob, a gap of at least 560 x 6 mm
should be made at the front.
The distance between the draw A and the hob should be at least
10 mm.
