Why won't my Atag VA6811NT Dishwasher start?

  There are several reasons why your Atag Dishwasher might not start. It could be due to: * The Start/Stop button not being pressed long enough. Press and hold it until the display shows the door open symbol. * The door not being properly closed, so check it. * A tripped fuse or circuit breaker, so check them. * The plug not being plugged in, so check it. * The water tap being turned off, so check it. * Overflow or leaks, so check it. * A whirring sound (drainage pump), then turn off the water tap, pull out the plug and call the service division. * The Delayed start option being selected. Press and hold Start/Stop for three seconds to cancel it.
