Answering system settings
To delete or reset your outgoing announcement:
Using a cordless handset:
1. When the handset is in idle mode, press MENU/SELECT to enter the
main menu.
2. Press
qCID or pDIR to scroll to Answering sys, then press MENU/SELECT.
3.
Press MENU/SELECT again to select Announcement.
4.
Press qCID or pDIR to scroll to Play annc, then press MENU/SELECT.
5. While the announcement is playing, press
MUTE/DELETE to delete the
announcement. The system announces “Announcement deleted”.

1. When the handset is in idle mode, press
MENU/SELECT to enter the main menu.
2. Press
qCID or pDIR to scroll to Answering sys, then press MENU/SELECT.

Press MENU/SELECT again to select Announcement.
4.
Press qCID or pDIR to scroll to Reset annc, then press MENU/SELECT. The
screen shows Reset to default annc?
5.
Press MENU/SELECT again to confirm. The screen shows
Annc. reset to default.
Using the telephone base:
1. When the telephone base is in idle mode, press MENU/SELECT to enter the
main menu.
2. Press
qCID or pDIR to scroll to Answering sys, then press MENU/SELECT.
3.
Press MENU/SELECT again to select Announcement.
4.
Press MENU/SELECT again to select Play annc and play the
announcement.
5. While the announcement is playing, press
X/DELETE to delete the
announcement. The system announces “Announcement deleted”.
When your announcement is deleted, the system answers calls with the
default announcement described on page 75. You cannot delete the default
announcement.
