opened.

can be specified

the

Drive

7-1.
The
third
parameter
in
the
OPEN statement
is
ignored
when
the
Atari 810
is
specified
as
the
device. A value
of
°
should
be
used.
The final
parameter
in
the
OPEN statement consists
of
the
device
name
for
the
Atari
810
Disk
Drive
(D),
followed
by
an
optional
drive
specifier, and
the
name
of
the
file
to
be
opened
.

.
This
operation
allows
the
user
to
read
the
disk
directory
as
if
it
was
a data file. The
file
pointer

set

first
filename
in the
directory
that matches
the
specified
filename.
When
the
disk
directory
file
is
read,
the
fields
containing
filenames
which
match
the
filename
specified in
the
OPEN
statement
will
be
returned
. Filenames
that
do
not
match
will
be
skipped.
The
last value
that
is
returned
is
the
number
of
free sectors.
If
the
following
OPEN
statement
was
specified;
