core of the built-in speaker
while POKE (53279,0)
extends it. When these two
statements are alternated,
clicking sounds will be
emitted from the speaker.
Miscellaneous
If the value for this address
is 0, sound can be heard
over the
television set dur-
i ng disk or cassette access-
ing. A
value of ° eliminates
this sound.
