switches the system
to
the
Memo
Pad
mode.
The system
has
no
computing
ability, and
only
the
keyboard
and display are
functional.
The
operator
can
experiment
with
the
keyboard
without
affecting the system. The system
will
return
to
BASIC
when
the
SYSTEM
RESET
key
is
pressed.
The operations
of
the
computer
a
nd
other
devices (disk drive,
mod
em, etc.) are
not
at all affected by
the
Memo
Pad.
For
example,
if
a
program
is
in
memory,
and a disk and
modem
are
being used, a
BYE
command
will
switch
to
Memo
Pad.
However,
SYSTEM
RESET
will
restore the
computer
to
BASIC, and all
other
devices
will
still be ready to operate. The
program
in
memory
will be
unchang
ed.

CLOAD
command
is
used to load a
previously
recorded
program
into
the
computer's
memory.
