5.3 During operation
Keep the panels closed during operation
When the motors are stopped and LED (8) (automatic operation) is alight, the motors may
start automatically.
When the automatic operation LED (8) is lit, the regulator is automatically controlling the
vacuum pump, i.e. loading, purging, stopping of the motors and restarting!
Regularly check the oil level during operation.
A few minutes after stopping, the oil level should reach the top of the oil sight glass (GI).
If the oil level is too low, wait until the vacuum pump has vented. Push the emergency stop button (10) to
avoid the vacuum pump to start unexpectedly. Next, close the inlet isolation valve (IV).
Remove the oil filler plug (FC) and add oil until the level reaches the top of the oil sight glass. Fit and
tighten the plug (FC).
On vacuum pump with an ElektronikonĀ® Graphic controller, unlock the emergency stop button (10), select
the STOP icon on the display and press reset before restarting.
