Slide the cover (1) of the oil separator tank backwards
Remove the oil separator elements (OS) by turning one quarter counter-clockwise
Clean the seat on the shield. Lubricate the gasket of the new oil separator using vacuum pump oil
and screw it into place. Tighten by hand.
Make sure all separator elements are assembled in the correct position. An arrow is printed
on the cover of the separator elements and the bottom of the shield; all arrows should be
pointing in the same direction after assembly.
Slide the cover (1) of the oil separator tank back in position. Caution not to squeeze the O-ring.
Tighten bolts.
6.8 Pressure switch
Testing
The pressure switch test can only be performed by authorized personnel.
If the pressure switch does not open at the set pressure of 1500 mbar(a), it needs to be replaced.
Warning
No adjustments are allowed. Never run the vacuum pump without pressure switch.
