2. Leading particulars
2.1 General description
The QAS 80 Pd and QAS 100 Pd are AC generators, built for
continuous running at sites where no electricity is available or as
stand-by in cases of interruption of the mains.
The generator operates at 50/60 Hz, 230/240 V in line-to-neutral mode
and 400/480 V in line-to-line mode.
The QAS 80 Pd and QAS 100 Pd generators are driven by a water-
cooled diesel engine, manufactured by PERKINS.
An overview of the main parts is given in the diagram below.
