FORD AXODE
"Early" 1991 Only - Uses 5 checkballs in the locations shown in Figure 65. Use chart above to determine
Early or Late transaxle by serial number.
"Late" 1991 Only - Uses 4 checkballs in the locations shown in Figure 65. Use chart above to determine
Early or Late transaxle by serial number.
1992-1998 Only - Uses 4 checkballs but in different locations, as shown in Figure 66. B-13 checkball
was eliminated and B-2 checkball was added.
1999-2002 Only - Uses 3 checkballs in the locations shown in Figure 66. B-5 checkball was eliminated.
