COMPLAINT:
CAUSE:
CORRECTION:
A delayed shift may occur during 3-2 forced downshifts, or "Kickdown", and/or the
transaxle will shift to neutral during the 3-2 kickdown.
The cause may be, a broken spring retainer clip between the pull-in control valve spring and
the 3-2 control valve spring, as shown in Figure 75.
Replace the spring retainer clip with OEM part number F1DZ-7F194-A, as shown in Figure
75.
