The AUDAC ATEO 4/6 is a series of 2-way loudspeakers designed for fixed installations in indoor applications. These loudspeakers are suitable for a wide range of environments, from modern residential settings to demanding designer applications in retail stores, pubs, restaurants, and clubs.

Function Description:

The ATEO series loudspeakers are designed to deliver high-quality audio in various indoor settings. They feature a stunningly designed and elegant ABS housing, equipped with high-quality components. A key feature is the unique Clevermount™ technology, which integrates the mounting bracket seamlessly with the loudspeaker cabinet, simplifying installation and providing a clean, aesthetic look. This technology allows for both horizontal and vertical installation, offering flexibility in directing sound. The horizontal installation method is particularly advantageous in spaces with limited wall or ceiling height. The directional capabilities ensure easy adjustment of sound distribution throughout an area.

Usage Features:

Clevermount™ Technology: This innovative mounting system allows the loudspeaker cabinet and bracket to flow together, creating a visually appealing and easy-to-install unit.
Flexible Installation: The speaker can be installed horizontally or vertically, and its direction can be adjusted even after mounting and connection. This flexibility is crucial for optimizing sound distribution.
Simple 5-Step Installation Procedure:
1. Attach the Wall Plate: The metal wall plate is fixed to the desired location using four screws. The screw distances are 30 mm horizontally and 55 mm vertically for ATEO 4, and 50 mm horizontally and 50 mm vertically for ATEO 6. Fasteners should be chosen based on the mounting surface (brick, concrete, wood, etc.).
2. Make the Connections: The ATEO speaker supports both Low Impedance (8 Ohm) and High Impedance (100 V) systems. Wires from the amplifier are connected to the 6-pin terminal block connector on the wall plate. The common ('COM' or '-') output connects to the 'C' terminal, and the positive ('Sig' or '+') connects to one of the other terminals, depending on the desired power or impedance. A jumper on the rear side of the loudspeaker must be moved to select between 8 Ohm (left position) or 100 Volt (right position) applications. Polarity markings should be observed during wiring. For invisible cabling, the speaker cable can be fed through the wall. If external cabling is required, a thinner material spot at the bottom side can be removed with pliers to feed the cable into the circular bracket.
3. Attach the Speaker: After the wall plate is mounted and wired, the loudspeaker is fixed by sliding the hooks of the wall plate into the slots on the back of the speaker, then moving it downwards (approx. 1 cm). A security screw on top of the circular bracket should be tightened to prevent accidental falls.
4. Position the Loudspeaker: The speaker's direction can be adjusted by carefully removing the logo in the center of the front grill and untightening an allen-key bolt behind it. This allows movement to the left (30°), right (30°), up (5°), and down (30°) positions, and rotation from vertical to horizontal. Once positioned, the allen-key bolt is tightened, and the logo is replaced.

Power Taps: For 100 Volt systems, various power taps are available, allowing for precise power management.
Aesthetic Design: The elegant ABS housing and integrated mounting bracket ensure the loudspeaker blends seamlessly into its environment.
Colour Options: All ATEO series speakers are available in Black (/B) or White (/W) to match different interior designs.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning: Only clean the unit with a dry cloth.
Servicing: The product contains no user-serviceable parts. All servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel. Do not attempt any servicing unless qualified.
Durability: The unit is designed for indoor use and should not be exposed to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing liquids, or extreme heat sources.
Safety: Always follow local regulations and requirements for installation, suspension, and connection. Attach a safety wire when mounting the speaker high up, using only industry-accepted rigging tools and methods.
WEEE Compliance: The product is marked with the WEEE symbol, indicating it should not be disposed of with regular household waste. It should be taken to a local collection point or recycling center for electrical and electronic waste to ensure environmentally friendly recycling.
