@ Alert stage signal flashes
If you activate your turn signal in driving sit-
uation @ , the signa l light briefly flashes re-
peatedly. Side assist is alerting you of a vehi-
cle that you may not have noticed .
@ Tips
- The faster a vehicle approaches from the
rear, the sooner the signa l on the outside
mirror lights up. Side assist will signa l,
at the latest, when a detected vehicle en-
ters your "blind spot".
- When vehicles approach very quickly,
changing lanes can be dangerous even if
the signal on the outside mirror does not
light up.
