Troubleshooting Guide 6. Voice Quality
Possible Cause Solution
11.
The incoming signal has a DC
offset.
Note: Only for analog
interfaces.
Enable the DC removal option (set the ini file parameter
ECDCRemoval to 1).
12.
None of the above
troubleshooting resolves the
problem.
If you have verified all the above solutions and still
experience echo, send AudioCodes Technical Support the
following information and traces:
Accurate and complete network diagram including all
network components between the two end connections.
The device's ini file.
An accurate description of the echo problem (how often
it appears, how long, etc.).
PCM recordings in G.711, using the same equipment
where the echo problems occurred. Refer to ''CLI Debug
Recording'' on page 72 for information on mak
ing PCM
recordings. Note the following:
9 The call duration should be at least 30 seconds.
9 Both talkers should be physically separated (in
different rooms).
When the device includes several concurrent calls, there
is a need to locate a specific call in a DSP recording.
Therefore, in addition to the above, provide details of the
problematic call (CDR, phone numbers, etc.) and a
Syslog trace.
