9. Mark the location
10. Remove the mounting plate
Using a pencil or other marking device, trace a line on the wall at the bottom of the
doorbell to mark the location you’ve selected.
Slide the doorbell upwards from the mounting plate to remove it. There should be
approximately ¼ inch of travel before it stops.
