3.1 Components of your mesh base
Your supplier will install your AVS mesh
base for you.
For other parts and detailed installa tion
instructions, we refer you to the
installation cards included with the
various parts.
3.2 Position of the legs*
It is vitally important that the feet be
fitted properly, to ensure the
appropriate distribution of weight. This
means that the legs must be placed at
the distances from head and foot end of
the bed as indicated in the following
illustration (bed seen from above):
3.3 Fitting the Auping mattress*
• Put your bed in the horizontal position.
• Make sure that the five protruding
clip-on pins of the mattress
connectors are pushed widthways
into the mesh (see fig. 1).
• ‘Click’ the mattress connectors into
the mesh at the positions indicated
(see fig. 1).
• Make sure that the mattress
connectors are not directly above a
cross bar.
• Put the mattress on the mesh base
and centre it.
