Fuel pre-filter (fig. 1)
Replacing
The fuel pre-filter is located next to the fuel tank, on the inside of the chassis.
CAUTION
Always replace this component. Never try to clean it.

- Remove the fastening brackets and the filter.
- Make sure that the new filter is fitted in the correct direction as shown by the
arrow on the body of the filter.
Dispose of remains of fuel in authorized centres.
Fuel filter (fig. 2, 3)
On models C300H / C300HI the filter is located on the right side of the engine, beside
the joystick’s support.
On models C300H x4 / x4 C300HI / C350H / C350HI / C350H x4 / x4 C350HI the
filter is located on the left side of the engine, beside the air filter ..
- Unscrew, by turning to the left, the cartridge (c) of the fuel filter and remove it
from its support.
- Clean the base and oil the seal of the new filter.
- Screw on the new filter element and tighten by hand, without using mechanical
means.
Dispose of remains of fuel in authorized centres.
CAUTION
Take care to correctly tighten the filter element otherwise the circuit may suction
air from the outside, causing faults in the supply to the engine.
