Getting Started
Connect the OBD II cable’s 16-pin male adapter to the
vehicle’s DLC which is generally located under the vehicle
dash.
The device will be automatically powered up.

Your MaxiLink ML629 is now ready to work.
Connect the OBD II cable’s female adapter to the MaxiLink
ML629.
Tighten the captive screws.
Scan QR Code to visit our website at www.autel.com.
Create an Autel ID and register the product with device’s
SN and password.

Scan QR Code and Register Product

Scan the QR code to visit the Autel website, create an Autel ID, and register your product using its serial number and password.

Connect OBD II Cable to Vehicle

Connect the OBD II cable's female adapter to the MaxiLink ML629, tighten screws, then connect the male adapter to the vehicle's DLC.

Device Ready for Operation

Your MaxiLink ML629 is now ready to work after successful connection and power-up.

Software Update and Delete

Maxi PC Suite Installation

Download and install the Maxi PC Suite from the Autel website to manage your device's software.

Performing Software Updates

Connect the tool to a PC, log into Maxi PC Suite, and select software to update for your MaxiLink ML629.

Deleting Installed Software

In Maxi PC Suite, navigate to the 'Installed' tab to select and remove unwanted software programs from the tool.

Data Printing

Printing Recorded Data

Connect the tool to a computer, use Autel Printer, select desired data from the tool's playback, and print.
