Using the 1 way companion remote
The companion 1 way remote commands the system features as
shown in the previous table, but without the message display of the
Responder LC remote and with limited features. Siren chirps and
parking light flashes are used to indicate that a command has been
received and activated as described in the Basic and Advanced com-
mand sections.
Accessing Commands
Similar to the Responder LC remote, Basic commands are performed
when a command button is pressed directly. To perform Advanced
Commands press and release or press and hold the
button first
to access function levels. The LED flashes in groups for a few seconds
to indicate the level. Press the desired command button while the LED
is flashing to perform the command.
Sensor Bypass
At any time while the system is armed, press/release the
button
on the remote and then within 2 seconds press and hold the
button again for one second to enable the sensor bypass mode.
Repeating the previous steps incrementally bypasses sensor opera-
tions and is confirmed as follows:
s Warn-away bypass: the parking lights flash two times as confir-
mation. The sensors respond to full trigger levels of impact only.
s Warn-away and full trigger bypass: The parking lights flash
three times as confirmation. The sensors do not respond to any
level of impact.
s Sensor bypass OFF: The Parking lights flash once as confirma-
tion. The sensors are fully operational.
