Why does smoke enter the room during start-up of my Avalon Pendleton 745?

Smoke might enter the room during the start-up of your Avalon Wood stove due to a cold air blockage. To fix this, burn a piece of newspaper to establish a draft. Also, ensure the doors are closed and the air control is fully open. If more air is needed, slightly crack the door open.
