Why Avalon Stove does not burn hot enough?

Refer to the "Selecting Wood" section on page 29 for more information. * Insufficient draft can be a factor. Chimney height and outside conditions can negatively affect the draft, causing the fire to burn slowly. Adding more pipe or a draft-inducing cap might help. * The air control might not be fully open. Ensure the air control is all the way in and slide it back and forth to make sure it is not stuck.
