Step1:Youhavetwooptionsforinstallingthisrangehood(seeINSTALLATIONDIAGRAMSonpage22).Determine
theventingmethodandproceedasfollows:
1. UsingreferencesintheHeight&Clearancediagram,determineandclearlymarkthecenterline
onthebottomofthecabinet.
2.
Drawelectricalwiresthroughcabinetaccessope ningontoporbackoftherangehood,center
thehoodbeneaththecabi netandflushwiththefrontofthecabinet.
3. Fromtheinsideofthehood,placehood mountingscrewsintheexactcenterofeachknockou t
holesandsecureto
thecabinetbottom.Tightenallscrewsuntilsecure.Becarefulwhenusing
electricalscrewdriverinordernottodamagetherangehood.Ifventingistobedonevertically,
connectandsecurethe6’’roundmetalduct(refertofigure1).
CAUTION:Makecertaintherangehoodissecurebeforereleasing!
Step2:
For safety purpose, pre‐drilled mounting holesare providedthrough the back of the hood. For a more secure
installation,useasmanymountingholesasneededtosecurethehoodfromtheinside.
Inthecaseofverticalevacuationusea6”roundmetalpipe(asinfigure1)
toconnecttheexhaustonthehoodto
theductwork.Useducttapetomakealljointssecureandairtight.
Step3:TurnpowerONincontrolpanel.Checkalllightsandfanoperations.
