IP Address Selection
The camera automatically obtains an IP address. Once connected to a network, the camera
will attempt to locate and obtain an IP address from a DHCP server. If this fails, the camera
will use Zeroconf (APIPA) to choose an IP address.
When the camera’s IP address is set using Zeroconf, its IP address is in the 169.254.* sub-
net.
The camera can be set to a static IP address from the Avigilon Control Center software. Con-
sult the software user guide for details.
