MAINTENANCE
NOTE! Prior to doing any maintenance work, always switch off the appliance, un-
load it and pull out the mains plug. Repairs must only be carried out by an author-
ized service centre using original spare parts.
Replacing the wire
- Never use wire with different size or material from the original wire.
- If the hoist is loaded much and with heavy loadings, it may be necessary to replace the
wire more often than in normal use.
- if you detect any abrasion, broken strands, rust or other damage in the wire, replace it
immediately with a new one.
Lubrication
All the moving parts of the hoist have been permanently lubricated in assembly. In normal
conditions, this pre-lubrication performed in the factory is sufficient. However, if additional
lubrication is required after repair or dismantle, use grease suitable for boat usage for lubri-
cation.
Inspection schedule
- Inspections of the hoist may only be carried out by a responsible person who is familiar
with its operation. Repairs must only be carried out by an authorized service centre using
original spare parts.
- Maintain the appliance once a year or more often depending on the frequency of use.
