Note
Tousevisualconrmation,InternetExplorerandAXISMediaControl(AMC)mustbeused.
Whenvisualconrmationisenabled,allmovingobjectsfoundbytheapplicationwillbeoutlined.Aredoutlineindicatesthatthe
objectisfoundandanalarmistriggered.Agreenoutlineindicatesthattheobjectisfoundbutisignoredbecauseitisnotinthe
includeareaorbecauseofoneoftheignorelters.
Toenablevisualconrmation:
1.SelecttheEnablevisualconrmationoption.
2.ClickSave.

IgnoreFilters
IfAXISVideoMotionDetection3detectstoomanyunwantedobjects,startbymodifyingtheincludeandexcludeareas.Iftoomany
objectsarestilldetected,useoneormoreoftheignorelters.
Supportedignorelters:
•Short-livedobjects—Usedtoignoreobjectsthatonlyappearintheimageforashortperiodoftime
•Smallobjects—Usedtoignoresmallobjects
•Swayingobjects—Usedtoignoreobjectsthatonlymoveashortdistance
Ignoreltersareappliedtoallmovingobjectsfoundbytheapplicationandshouldbeconguredwithcaretoensurethatno
importantobjectsareignored.
Onlymodifyignoreltersifneededanduseasfewltersaspossible.Enableandcongureonelteratatimeandusevisual
conrmationtoverifythesettingsbeforeenablinganotherlter.
Whenconguringalter,startwithasmallltersize,clickSaveandusevisualconrmationtoverifythesettings.
Modifytheltervaluesinsmallstepsuntilthedesiredresultisachieved.
SwayingObject
Theswayingobjectlterisusedtoavoidtriggeringalarmsforobjectsthatonlymoveashortdistance.Forexamplemovingtrees,
agsandtheirshadows.Usethelterifsuchobjectscausealotoffalsealarms.Iftheswayingobjectsinthescenearelarge,for
examplelargepondsorlargetrees,useexcludeareasinsteadofthelter.Thelterwillbeappliedtoallmovingobjectsinscene.Ifa
valueissettoohigh,importantobjectsmightnottriggeranalarm.
