Setupnetworkstorage
Tostorerecordingsonthenetwork,youneedtosetupyournetworkstorage.
1.GotoSystem>Storage.
2.Click+AddnetworkstorageunderNetworkstorage.
3.TypetheIPaddressofthehostserver.
4.TypethenameofthesharedlocationonthehostserverunderNetworkShare.
5.Typetheusernameandpassword.
6.SelecttheSMBversionorleaveitonAuto.
7.CheckAddshareevenifconnectionfailsifyouareexperiencingtemporaryconnectionissues,ortheshareisnot
yetcongured.
8.ClickAdd.
HowdoImage,Stream,andStreamprolesettingsrelatetoeachother?
TheImagetabcontainscamerasettingsthataffectallvideostreamsfromtheproduct.Ifyouchangesomethinginthistab,it
immediatelyaffectsallvideostreamsandrecordings.
TheStreamtabcontainssettingsforvideostreams.Yougetthesesettingsifyourequestavideostreamfromtheproductanddon’t
specifyforexampleresolution,orframerate.WhenyouchangethesettingsintheStreamtab,itdoesn’taffectongoingstreams,but
itwilltakeeffectwhenyoustartanewstream.
TheStreamprolessettingsoverridethesettingsfromtheStreamtab.Ifyourequestastreamwithaspecicstreamprole,the
streamcontainsthesettingsofthatprole.Ifyourequestastreamwithoutspecifyingastreamprole,orrequestastreamprole
thatdoesn'texistintheproduct,thestreamcontainsthesettingsfromtheStreamtab.
