How to fix Axis M3114-VE when it cannot be accessed from a browser?
    • S
      simpsonnathanAug 7, 2025
If you cannot log in to your Axis Security Camera via a browser, and HTTPS is enabled, ensure that you are using the correct protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) when attempting to log in. If the IP address has been changed by DHCP, move the Axis product to an isolated network, or to one with no DHCP or BOOTP server and set the IP address again, using AXIS IP Utility or ARP/Ping. Open the Setup pages and disabled DHCP in the TCP/IP settings. If you encounter a certificate error when using IEEE 802.1X, synchronize the date and time settings in the Axis product with an NTP server for authentication to work properly.

You might be experiencing problems setting the IP address on your Axis Security Camera because the product is located on a different subnet, or the IP address is being used by another device. Contact your network administrator to obtain an IP address. Alternatively, there may be a possible IP address conflict with another device on the same subnet. Obtain a new IP address from the network administrator and reinstall the product.

To resolve problems with the H.264 format on your Axis Security Camera: * Check that the relevant H.264 connection methods and correct interface are enabled in the AMC client Control Panel if no H.264 is displayed in the Control Panel. * If no multicast H.264 is displayed, check with your network administrator that the multicast addresses used by the Axis product displayed in the client are valid for your network. * If multicast H.264 is only accessible by local clients, check if your router supports multicasting, or if the router settings between the client and the product need to be configured. * Ensure that your graphics card is using the latest driver if you have poor rendering of H.264 images. * Modify the settings for your graphics adapter if the color saturation is differ...
