How to fix problems setting the IP address for Axis M3203 Security Camera?
    • J
      Justin BrownAug 1, 2025
If the IP address intended for the Axis Security Camera and your computer's IP address are on different subnets, you won't be able to set the IP address. Contact your network administrator to get an appropriate IP address. If the IP address is already in use, disconnect the camera and run the Ping command. If you receive a reply, the IP address is in use; obtain a new one and reinstall the camera. If you see 'Request timed out', check all cabling and reinstall the unit. If there is a possible IP address conflict with another device on the same subnet, set the static IP address to 0.0.0.0. If the IP address has been changed by DHCP, run AXIS IP Utility to locate the camera. Then, disable DHCP in the TCP/IP settings to fix the IP address.
