YourcameracantransmitalivevideostreamtoanHDMImonitorevenwithoutanetworkconnection.Usethemonitorfor

surveillancepurposesorforpublicviewing,forexampleinastore.

1.ConnectanexternalmonitorusingtheHDMIconnector.

2.GotoSystem>VideooutandturnonHDMI.

3.SelectaSource.Rotatetheimageifneeded.

Setuprulesforevents

Youcancreaterulestomakeyourdeviceperformanactionwhencertaineventsoccur.Aruleconsistsofconditionsandactions.

Theconditionscanbeusedtotriggertheactions.Forexample,thedevicecanstartarecordingorsendanemailwhenitdetects

motion,orshowanoverlaytextwhilethedeviceisrecording.

Triggeranaction

1.GotoSystem>Eventsandaddarule.Theruledeneswhenthedevicewillperformcertainactions.Youcanset

uprulesasscheduled,recurring,ormanuallytriggered.

2.EnteraName.

3.SelecttheConditionthatmustbemettotriggertheaction.Ifyouspecifymorethanoneconditionfortherule,allofthe

conditionsmustbemettotriggertheaction.

4.SelectwhichActionthedeviceshouldperformwhentheconditionsaremet.

Note

Ifyoumakechangestoanactiverule,therulemustbeturnedonagainforthechangestotakeeffect.

Note

Ifyouchangethedenitionofastreamprolethatisusedinarule,thenyouneedtorestartalltherulesthatusethat

streamprole.

Recordvideowhenthecameradetectsanobject

ThisexampleexplainshowtosetupthecameratostartrecordingtotheSDcardwhenthecameradetectsanobject.Therecording

willincludevesecondsbeforedetectionandoneminuteafterdetectionends.

Beforeyoustart:

•MakesureyouhaveanSDcardinstalled.

MakesurethatAXISObjectAnalyticsisrunning:

1.GotoApps>AXISObjectAnalytics.

2.Starttheapplicationifitisnotalreadyrunning.

3.Makesureyouhavesetuptheapplicationaccordingtoyourneeds.

Createarule:

1.GotoSystem>Eventsandaddarule.

2.Typeanamefortherule.

3.Inthelistofconditions,underApplication,selectObjectAnalytics.
