exampletoensurethattheimagesizefulllsspecicrequirements.Topositionthepixelcounter,clickonthetextanddrag
thewindowtothedesiredposition.

Usethetoolsonthispagetondtheoptimalfocusposition.FocusismeasuredinthepartoftheimagecoveredbytheFocuswindow.
Howtoadjustfocusandzoom
Ifthecameraismountedsothatyoucannotlookattheimageandaccessthelensatthesametime,usetheFocusAssistant,
seeHowtoadjustfocuswiththeFocusAssistant.
1.Opentheproduct’shomepageandgotoSetup>BasicSetup>Focus.
2.UndertheBasictab,clickOpeniris.Ifthebuttonisinactivetheirisisalreadyopen.
3.Iffocushasbeensetbefore,clickResettoresetthebackfocus.
4.Loosenthezoompullerandthelockscrewforthefocusringonthelensbyturningthemcounter-clockwise.SeeHardware

5.Movethezoompullerandthefocusringtosetzoomandfocusandcheckthequalityoftheimageintheimagewindow.
6.Re-tightenthezoompullerandthelockscrewforthefocusring.
7.OntheFocuspage,clickFine-tunefocusautomaticallyandwaituntilautomaticnetuningiscompleted.
8.ClickEnableiris.Ifthebuttonisinactivetheirisisalreadyenabled.
Ifneeded,makefurtheradjustmentsundertheAdvancedtab:
1.Alwaysopentheirisbeforefocusingandenableitwhennishedfocusing.
2.UsethemousetomoveandresizethewindowandthenclickFine-tunefocusautomatically.
3.Ifneeded,clickintheFocuspositionbar,oronthearrowsattheendsofthebar,tofurtheradjustthefocus.
4.ClickEnableiris.Ifthebuttonisinactivetheirisisalreadyenabled.

•Theviewinfrontofthecamerashouldnotbechangedduringfocusadjustment.Ifthecameraismoved,orifangeror
otherobjectisplacedinfrontofthelens,restarttheprocedure.
•Ifmovementsinfrontofthecameracannotbeavoided,theFocusAssistantshouldnotbeused.
•Ifthecontrolbuttonisnotreleasedwithintwoseconds,AXISInternetDynamicDNSServiceisenabledinsteadoftheFocus
