andstorageneeds.IfyouenablePTZforaviewarea,youcanpan,tiltandzoomwithinit.Byusingviewareasyoucanremoveparts
ofthefullview,forexample,thesky.
Whenyousetupaviewarea,werecommendyoutosetthevideostreamresolutiontothesamesizeasorsmallerthantheviewarea
size.Ifyousetthevideostreamresolutionlargerthantheviewareasizeitimpliesdigitallyscaledupvideoaftersensorcapture,
whichrequiresmorebandwidthwithoutaddingimageinformation.
Capturemodes
Acapturemodeisapresetcongurationthatdeneshowthecameracapturesimages.Theselectedmodecanaffectthemaximum
resolutionandmaximumframerateavailableinthedevice.Ifyouuseacapturemodewithalowerresolutionthanthemaximum,
theeldofviewmightbereduced.Thecapturemodealsoaffectstheshutterspeed,whichinturnaffectsthelightsensitivity–a
capturemodewithahighmaximumframeratehasareducedlightsensitivity,andviceversa.Notethatwithcertaincapturemodes
youmightnotbeabletouseWDR.
Thelowerresolutioncapturemodemightbesampledfromtheoriginalresolution,oritmightbecroppedoutfromtheoriginal,in
whichcasetheeldofviewcouldalsobeaffected.
Theimageshowshowtheeldofviewandaspectratiocanchangebetweentwodifferentcapturemodes.
