WiththisfeatureyoucanpushimagesofthelicenseplatestoaserverthroughFTP.
Beforeyoustart:
•Thecameramustbephysicallyinstalledandconnectedtothenetwork.
•AXISLicensePlateVeriermustupandrunningonthecamera.
1.GotoIntegration>Pushevents.
2.IntheProtocoldrop-downlist,selectFTP.
3.IntheServerURLeld,typetheserveraddressinthefollowingformat:ftp://10.21.65.77/LPR.
4.IntheDeviceIDeld,typethenameofthedevice.Afolderwiththisnamewillbecreatedfortheimages.Imagesare
createdusingthefollowingformat:timestamp_areaofinterest_direction_carID_licenseplatetext_country.jpg.
5.TypetheusernameandpasswordfortheFTPserver.
6.Selectthepathandnamemodiersforthelenames.
7.ClickDone.
8.UnderEventtypes,selectoneormoreofthefollowingoptions:
-Newmeanstherstdetectionofalicenseplate.
-Updateiseitheracorrectionofacharacteronapreviouslydetectedlicenseplate,orwhenaadirectionis
detectedastheplatemovesandistrackedacrosstheimage.
-Lostisthelasttrackedeventofthelicenseplatebeforeitexitstheimage.Italsocontainsthedirectionof
thelicenseplate.
Note
DirectionisonlyincludedinthelenamewhenLostorUpdateisselected.
9.Toturnonthefeature,selectSendeventdatatoserver.
10.ClickSave.
Note
Notethattheimagevariesdependingonwhattypeofcapturemodeyouhaveselected,seeAdjusttheimagecapture
settingsonpage9.
Note
Ifpusheventsfail,theappwillresenduptotherst100failedeventstotheserver.
WhenusingFTPinpusheventstoaWindowsserver,donotuse%cfornamingofimagesthatgivesyoudateandtime.
ThisisduetothefactthatWindowsdoesnotacceptthenamingsetbythefunction%cfordateandtime.Notethat
thisisnotanissuewhenusingaLinuxserver.
