PresetPositions

Apresetpositionisasavedviewthatcanbeusedtoquicklysteerthecameratoaspecicposition.Apresetpositionconsistsof

thefollowingvalues:

•Panandtiltpositions

•Zoomposition

•Focusposition

Eachviewareahasitsownpresetpositions.

Presetpositionscanbeaccessedinseveralways:

•ByselectingthepresetfromtheSourcedrop-downlistintheLiveViewPage.

Toaddapresetposition:

1.GotoPTZ>PresetPositions.

2.Clickintheimageorusethecontrolstosteerthecameraviewtothedesiredposition.

3.EnteradescriptivenameintheCurrentpositioneld.

4.ClickAddtosavethepresetposition.

TheentireviewareaistreatedastheHomepositionwhichisreadilyaccessiblebyclickingtheHomebuttonontheLiveView

pageandinthePresetPositionssetupwindow.

TheproductcanbeconguredtoreturntotheHomepositionwhenthePTZfunctionalityhasbeeninactiveforaspeciedlengthof

time.EnterthelengthoftimeintheReturntohomeaftereldandclickSave.Setthetimetozerotopreventtheproductfrom

automaticallyreturningtotheHomeposition.

Gatekeeper

TheGatekeepermonitorsanareasuchasanentrancegate.Whenmotionisdetectedinthemonitoredarea,theGatekeeperwillsteer

thecameratoaselectedpresetposition.Usingazoomed-inpresetpositioncanmakeitpossibleto,forexample,readalicenseplate

oridentifyaperson.Whenmotionisnolongerdetected,thecamerareturnstoitsHomepositionafteradenedtime.
