Chapter 3: Using the StrikeLight 2 Stun Flashlight
2 Press the trigger button.
3 Drive the electrodes into the attacker.
• When using a contact stun, push (drive) the front of the stun ashlight rmly against the
body of the attacker. The subject is likely to recoil from the painful shock and try to get away
from the stun electrodes. It is necessary to aggressively drive the front of the stun ashlight
into the attacker for maximum eect.
• Due to automatic reex actions, most people will struggle to separate from the stun ashlight.
It may be dicult to maintain contact between the stun ashlight and the attacker.
• If the contact stun is not eective, evaluate the location of the contact stun and consider an
additional cycle to a dierent pressure point, consider alternative force options (if available),
or consider eeing from the attacker.
4 As necessary, press the trigger button until help arrives or you are able to get away from the
attacker.
5 As soon as it is safe to do so, call 911 and report the specic location of the threat.
