15.6 keyboard control board
The keyboard control board, with Flash technology, is located in the panel keyboard assembly; it
controls the proximity keyboard boards.
Its principle technical characteristics are:
• Uses a microcontroller made by Motorola MC9S08AC60 (8 bits) with 2 Kbytes of
internal RAM memory.
• Works at 40 MHz.
• Uses 5 Vdc.
• The programme memory that the machine has is Flash type with capacity of 60
Kbytes. The access to memory is in 8 bits.
• The software is always loaded from the control flash board.
