Definition All the coin codes are inhibited.
Observations As all the coins are inhibited, the machine will not accept coins.
PROBABLE CAUSE
x All the codes of the validator are inhibited.
FAULTY PART
- Programming bad in the function 412-
COINS. ENTR.
- RAM Memory of the control board faulty.
- Inhibition of the microswitch in the
validator.
Partial faults
The machine is capable of auto detecting partial faults, that is, some element does not work
correctly but the rest of the machine is can continue working.
MESSAGE AV. HOPPER X
Definition Fault in the hopper indicated ( X = A, B or C).
Observations This fault is detected by the control board of the machine.
PROBABLE CAUSE
x One/various coins in the hopper are jammed
indicating hopper.
FAULTY PART
- The sorter had routed the coin incorrectly.
- Programming bad in the function 414-
CLASIF.MON.
- The disco has tried ejecting 2 coins at the
same time.
x Gives various coins, more than it should.
x The hopper indicated it tried to give a coin
and did not achieve it.
x The three hoppers are faulty. No
communication with the CPU.
- Motor hopper.
